After you install

  1. Open the app. It asks for a link code.
  2. Press the button in the app to sign in here, and the code fills itself in.
  3. The app downloads the kernel once, then starts.

What you need

  • Windows 10 or 11, or macOS 13 or later, 64-bit
  • 4 GB of memory for a handful of profiles, 8 GB if you run many at once
  • About 2 GB of disk for the kernel, plus what your profiles grow to

If Windows warns you

The installer is not signed yet, so Windows shows a SmartScreen warning and lists the publisher as unknown. Choose More info, then Run anyway. Instead of the publisher line, check that the SHA-256 above matches the file you downloaded.
